HCG Diet – Period and Menstrual Cycle Questions Answered

Many people are currently starting the HCG diet. Many people are new to this diet and have several questions. I have compiled several questions that are commonly asked about HCG drops regarding pregnancy and the menstrual cycle.

Question

If I get pregnant while on the HCG drops can I continue using them? Will it affect the baby in any negative ways? Also can I get a false positive pregnancy test because of the HCG drops in my system? Thank you so much for your help!

Answer

If you are truly pregnant, then you should discontinue use of the drops. It will not hurt your baby, but your own body is generating excess amount of HCG on its own. You should discontinue the low calorie diet as well and follow your doctor’s recommendations

Question

I wanted to know what I should do if I tested your product with a pregnancy test and it came up negative. I was told that this was a good test to see if there was any HCG in it. My two tests were negative.

Answer

All homeopathic HCG products out on the market will always test negative. The succession process used in its manufacture is a process of mapping and dilution, so that you get the benefits without the side effects.

Question

Getting ready for my “time of the month” would this be part of the issue? Also do I continue the drops during this time? I have read both…

Answer

Your TOM will have an impact on your weight loss. Most women hold steady during that time and in some instances they gain…. but it all drops again at the end of the cycle. With homeopathic drops you do not need to stop taking them. You may experience a little heavier cycle, but that is normal while on the drops. Good luck and keep up the good work.

Question

How long do the drops stay in your system? I have not started my period and there is no reason to not start. Has anyone experienced this?

Answer

The drops will be expelled from your system within 72 hours from your last dose. As far your period is concerned, in most women, it can cause a heavier period than normal. We have never encountered someone missing their period as a result of using HCG

HCG Diet Drops For Fast, Safe, And Effective Weight Loss

Losing weight is never an easy task and many of us have learned this lesson well. But thanks to developments introduced to nutrition and dieting, we now have a range of options in terms of losing weight fast, safe and effectively. One way is through observing the HCG weight loss program and strictly complying with its requirements. This weight loss regimen has been around for years but it has only been recent that we have heard about HCG diet drops and pills that has changed the face of dieting and losing weight to a significant degree. And it can indeed be helpful to learn more about this fast, safe and effective method of losing weight.

In the past, many people end up frustrated with their efforts to trim down excess weight and fat. This is because earlier programs were too restrictive, leaving them hungry and lacking in energy. In fact, this has led many of us to believe that dieting is synonymous to starvation – which should never be the case. Losing weight is not about how much food we are able to carve away from our meals. Effectively losing weight is about eating the right kinds of food at the right amounts. And this is something that is encouraged if you are using HCG diet drops.

This is because the HCG weight loss program requires users to observe very low calorie meals. And if users of this diet program only keep their eyes peeled for their caloric intake, they can very well end up being poor in nutrition. This is why HCG diet recipes developed specifically for this weight loss program are packed with healthy quantities of fresh meat, fruits and vegetables, and our favorite snack products like candy bars and other sweets are substituted with healthy slices of fresh fruit.

With a weight loss program that appears to be quite good, why is it that it took people more than half a century to give it the attention it deserved? This is because the HCG weight loss program of the past spelled pain for many people. This can be attributed to the manner by which the natural hormone is introduced to the body – through injections.

These days, however, users of the HCG diet program can comfortably say goodbye to the pain caused by HCG hormone injections. Thanks to HCG diet drops and pills, dieting with HCG has become even safer, more effective, and more comfortable.

When it comes to losing weight looking into hCG weight loss can be an excellent option. The hCG diet drops are safe and effective and you can start today. Just check out your options at hCGCompleteDiet.com

HCG Diet Action Plan – 3 Easy Steps to Success With HCG Die

Whether you’ve been on the HCG Diet with little or no success, or you’re just starting your first phase, here’s three easy to implement steps to success…

Step number one; Have an action plan. This is crucial to your success. An HCG diet action plan could be as simple as a laid out menu plan for three weeks of the diet. This helps you keep on track like following a road map to success. Many people fail on any diet, low calorie, low carb, or HCG simply by not being organized. With an action, or a menu plan you know what you’ll be preparing the day or the week before you cook it. This makes preparation and gathering ingredients super easy. A menu plan that is well laid out will keep you within the 500 calorie per day limit that the diet requires.

Step Number Two; Have a food List to go with that action plan. Have a list of all the foods that are allowed on the diet. A good food list will include every fruit, vegetable, and meat as well as serving size that is allowed to stay within the 500 calorie per day limit. This is crucial to your success. I have many friends that have failed on the diet simply from not knowing what foods and what portion sizes are allowed.

Step Number three; Most important, have a book of delicious recipes to follow your action plan. Every recipe should have a calorie and fat count per serving. This will help you put together a menu plan at a glance with every recipe so you can stay within the 500 calorie per day limit.

The real success to the HCG diet is to take the shots and stay within the 500 calorie per day limit. So many people have failed simply from taking the shots then eating whatever they want. They think the shots alone will help them lose weight. The diet does not work this way. It works when you take the shots and stick to the 500 calorie per day limit. Diet and weight loss success can be yours, just as they have been for myself and thousands of others by using these three simple steps. Have an action plan, have food list, and have great recipes.

HCG Diet Pro’s and Con’s

There’s lots of controversy surrounding the HCG diet. In fact the thought of 500 calories is just tough to wrap your arms around. However, is HCG really effective? Does HCG actually help the process? These are all valid questions, and must be balanced against the 50 years of practical use. There are many people that have been successful on the HCG diet. However as will all diets, the decision must be a personal one. So let’s explore the pros and cons of the HCG diet.

Pros of the HCG Diet

·         People on the diet generally experience rapid weight loss
·         There are generally very few hunger pains while using HCG
·         The diet targets problem areas rather than necessary fat areas in joints
·         Metabolism is reset so normal eating resumes when the diet is complete
·         The set time frame makes goal setting easier
·         During the diet you learn to eat healthier and make better food choices with proper food portions

Cons of HCG diet

·         The food choices are very limited
·         Must follow the strict protocol of the diet to be successful
·         Diet itself and HCG effectiveness is still controversial
·         Diet requires daily HCG injections (Oral HCG is available)
·         Must drink water all day
·         Eating at restaurants is difficult
·         The meals take preparation, and lunch on the go must be planned
·         It could be expensive if you decide to use a licensed practitioner

Diets are tough to follow anyway, and controversy surrounds just about any diet on the market today. Fad diets all have their fanatical following and success stories. The bottom line is that the success of the diet you choose will be determined by the commitment you make towards that diet. There are people that have been very successful on the HCG diet, and people that have failed miserably. If you decide to try the HCG diet, make that strong commitment and it could change your life.

HCG Diet Controversy – Is It FDA Recognized or Just Another Miracle Diet Fad?

So by now you have probably heard of the HCG Diet and chances are you already find yourself picking sides. As the HCG Diet makes its round on the daytime TV shows, infomercial, and all over the web you can’t seem to get away from it which probably leaves you wondering what’s all the fuss about.

In January 2011 the FDA came out with some seemingly harsh words about the most common form of the HCG Diet the over-the-counter Homeopathic Oral Drops. The spokeswomen for the FDA stated, “We are aware of HCG products that claim to be homeopathic, but it (HCG) is not recognized in the Homeopathic Pharmacopoeia.” Therefore, these products “are not recognized by the FDA as homeopathic drugs, so they are unapproved drugs and are illegal,” she says. (USA Today, 2011)

This statement caused allot if furor on the internet with so many crying “See I told you so!” on Twitter, Facebook, and blogs across the web. But interestingly what people failed to see is that the FDA spokesperson made some very clear statements that may actually support legitimate sellers of the HCG Diet program. For example, the FDA spokesperson clearly stated that the HCG Diet is NOT “a serious direct health hazard or a serious indirect health hazard.” Well that’s good news!

To clarify, the Homeopathic Pharmacopoeia of the US (HPUS) provides oversight for Homeopathic Formulas in the US and is recognized by FDA as being the regulatory body for Homeopathic formulas. The majority of HCG formulas are NOT HPUS recognized because HCG by itself is NOT a recognized HPUS ingredient. This is what the FDA has been concerned about and it something you should be concerned about too.

Despite all the controversy, no one can deny that people are losing weight, allot of it to be exact. The anecdotal evidence is staggering and as Dr. Oz even remarked on his show it’s hard to refute the testimonial evidence of so many believers in the HCG Diet who have lost so much weight!

So if you’re thinking about joining the millions who have tired it and succeed here are a few things you want to look out for: 1. Is the HCG your buying recognized by HPUS?, 2. Does the company your buying from provide coaching and support?, 3. Do they have a Money Back Guarantee?

Naturally, you must make an informed decision about your body and shouldn’t make a rash purchase but with the mountain of anecdotal evidence from millions of satisfied HCG Dieters it might just be worth a try! Just make sure you buy a HPUS recognized formula from a reputable company.

HCG Diet Summary – Explore the Different Phases of the HCG Diet

There’s lots of controversy surrounding the HCG diet. In fact the thought of 500 calories is just tough to wrap your arms around. However, is HCG really effective? Does HCG actually help the process? These are all valid questions, and must be balanced against the 50 years of practical use. There are many people that have been successful on the HCG diet. However as with all diets, the decision must be a personal one. To help people make an educated decision, I wanted to cover the phases of the HCG diet.

Phase I
This is the initial phase of the diet, and prepares your body to maximize the benefits from the HCG generated weight loss. In this stage you will start taking supplements designed to facilitate the mobilization of fat for use in metabolism. This is also the time to study phase II and plan your shopping and meal preparation. This phase usually last one week, and provides a solid foundation for the next phase.

Phase II
Phase II begins when you start taking your HCG however, phase II really has two parts. This first is the fat loading so your initial period on the restricted calorie diet is not quite so difficult. Proper fat loading provides the body with energy until the HCG can take effect and start metabolizing the fat stores in the body. A difficult transition into the restricted calorie diet is usually caused by not taking in enough fat initially. Here is a sample menu for a day of fat loading.

Breakfast: Cream cheese bagel with bacon and sausage, and a ham/cheese omelet.
Mid-morning snack: Donut with whipped cream with strawberries.
Lunch: Pork chop, potato with sour cream, and a roll with butter and a buttered veggie.
Mid-afternoon snack: Ice cream with Oreos.
Dinner: Fettuccini, cheese garlic bread, and salad with full-fat dressing, of course, cheesecake for dessert. Late-night snack: Ice cream or frozen cappuccino.

Once you have fat loaded for two days, you will start the restricted calorie diet. Initially it is common to have hunger cravings, but these will subside between days 5-7. Calories average about 500 per day however, you don’t have to finish all your food, as you will find that you are not hungry. The morning meals are supplements, water, and tea. Lunch and dinner will be 3.5oz of protein, vegetables and a piece of fruit. Supplements are taken three times a day, and water intake should increase dramatically.

· Protein choices consist of beef, chicken, Chilean sea bass, flounder or sole, halibut, or shrimp.
· Fruit choices consist of apples, oranges, ½ grapefruit, or a handful of strawberries
· Vegetables consist of spinach, chard, lettuce, beet greens, broccoli, tomatoes, celery, fennel, yellow or red onion, cucumbers, asparagus, or cabbage.

Phase II is the most critical stage of the diet. Planning and mental preparation is the key to success.

Phase III
This phase locks in the weight loss achieved during phase II. This part of the diet is very important, and if done properly makes it much easier to sustain your weight loss. Regular calorie intake is resumed at this point however, a high protein diet is important. Fats, vegetables, fruits, dairy, and nuts are ok during this phase as well. No sugar, starch, fast foods, or heavily processed foods including fruits that are high in sugar, or vegetables high in starch.

It is important to weigh yourself daily. If you find yourself having gained 2lbs, you must immediately go on a steak diet. Fast for the day drinking your teas and water, then for dinner eat a large steak and an apple. Your weight should return and stabilize the next day. Phase III will last 3 weeks.

Phase IV
This is the lifetime maintenance of the program. You should continue to keep sugars to a minimum, and introduce starches back to your diet very slowly. Continue to eat proteins and stay away from heavily processed or fast foods. Weigh yourself often, and use the steak day if you have gained beyond your set baseline weight.

Well, that’s the basics of the HCG diet. Many people including myself have had tremendous success utilizing this plan. It is not an easy diet, and you must be mentally prepared, but you will lose weight fast. Hopefully, this helps you make a decision if this is the right diet for you.

HCG Diet, Solving Your Weight Problem Fast and Keeping Safe at the Same Time

The HCG diet is undoubtedly one of the most effective weight loss diets these days. Consider what it is capable of doing: one to two pounds off your frame daily, least amounts of hassles (workouts are unnecessary), and side effects are minimal. There are only a few diets as efficient as that.

There is just one issue about the diet that may bother you – the HCG injections. The diet is effective only because it works in tandem with the HCG hormone that is extracted from the blood of pregnant women and confirmed to have the power to reduce hunger pangs and power to transform the metabolic process into a fat burning machine.

It goes without saying that not many people like injections as method for administering the 125 to 200 IUs of the hormone that the program requires daily. Obviously, the method lasted for the simple reason that for a long time no other method was available. People had no choice but to endure the various inconveniences, the pains, the anxieties, the possible blood clots and others.

Today, you do not have to deal with these issues any longer. The HCG hormone is now available in the drops form. The advantages of the HCG diet drops make the program even more effective. They eliminate the distractions of the injections and give you the opportunity to focus on the most difficult part of the program – the 500 a day HCG diet.

Administering the hormone through the drops is as easy as it could get. Make sure you have 15 drops of the hormone in the dropper and squeeze them underneath your tongue. You do these 20 minutes before or after meals. Hold the hormone in your mouth for 15 seconds and then swallow.

You do not waste precious time on preparations and you do not feel anxious every time you administer the hormone. The less hassles you encounter with the hormone; the greater the chances the program will be successful, since you’ll be dealing only with the normal side effects of the HCG diet.

The HCG diet is very strict when it comes to following instructions. The diet recipe leaves no room for guessing or experimentation. The foods allowed and amounts and the manner of preparing meals are specific and you really just have to follow them in order to obtain optimum results.

You’ll find the diet a bit scary at first given that you are only allowed 500 calories a day. Breakfast is entirely solid-food-free, and food servings for lunch and dinner are small. For someone who is used to consuming great amounts of foods with great amounts of calories in them, the diet is great damper.

Understandably, depression, irritability, and headaches and the expected hunger pangs are some of the HCG diet side effects you will deal with. These side effects, though, should not make your life miserable as they are kept well under tolerable levels and will disappear soon enough, thanks to the power of HCG to speed up the metabolic process. In fact, they will only last for a few days.

Accelerating the metabolic process is the key to losing weight fast and overcoming side effects. The constant and rapid fat burning produces the energy your body uses to control the side effects. Remember also that though the diet provides minimal calorie, it has enough nutrients – proteins and fibers – to keep you functioning normally.

High Energy And The HCG Diet: Strategies For Maximum Weight Loss

Regular diets can leave you exhausted, starving and bad tempered. HCG weight loss is different – with the HCG diet you have the energy you need to live life to the full and enjoy maximum success with HCG diet drops. Two of the key HCG diet benefits are high energy levels and decreased appetite. The HCG diet gives you the building blocks for weight loss success. How can you maximize your chances and meet your weight loss goals?

Maintain Your Energy

Take advantage of the fact that HCG drops allow you to lose weight without suffering the crippling tiredness that comes with other very low calorie diets. HCG helps to reset the hypothalamus and break down reserve fats as the body’s primary fuel source. Even on a low calorie diet your body feels like it is getting all the calories it needs for the day. Keep to your regular schedule but if you do feel tired in the first few days, give yourself regular rest breaks to recuperate. You’ll soon feel like your normal self again.

Kick Boredom To The Curb

Boredom can be the death of the very low calorie diet. While you’re on the HCG diet you should mix up your meals and enjoy a variety of dishes to prevent a food boredom rut. Use the HCG diet eBook to cook up something different. And use all the herbs and spices at your disposal – if you stick to salt and pepper you’re missing out on a lot of flavor. As long as you stick within the guidelines governing which foods you can eat, there’s no reason why you should eat the same food every mealtime. In fact, you should never eat the same protein or vegetable twice in the same day. Garlic chicken with asparagus for lunch and Cajun-spiced shrimp with onion for dinner – sounds great, doesn’t it?

Raise The Water Level

Make sure to drink a lot of water while you are dieting. Water is calorie-free and fights food cravings for you. Experts know that many of your food cravings are brought about not by hunger but by thirst. Regularly drinking water cuts cravings and helps you maintain a healthy body. Aim for at least one half to one gallon of water a day.

Savor Each Mouthful

Eat mindfully and really savor every part of your meal. Eating slowly will help boost your metabolism, help your digestion and make you feel like you are actually eating more. When you spend more time on your food you are less likely to feel empty immediately after the meal, and less likely to binge on unhealthy food. Help yourself eat less by creating an optical illusion – use a smaller plate but keep to the same portion size, and cut your food into smaller pieces. It looks more appetizing and less like a diet meal.

Keep Your Eye On The Prize

Practice positive visualization if you ever feel like you are faltering. Clearly imagine yourself slim and happy with the weight off. Picture yourself in new clothes and able to walk, run and exercise more easily. Keep reminding yourself of the ultimate prize – weight loss and your opportunity for a healthier diet and lifestyle in the future. And if you wobble (we all do) don’t give up on the entire diet. Get back on track the next day and don’t be too hard on yourself. It may take a few days longer, but you will reach your goals. Guilt won’t do you any good at all.

Get Information From HCG Diet Reviews

HCG diet is a widespread popular diet offered anywhere in the world. It is a strict diet program to be followed to lose weight fast. Anyone can use the HCG diet provided a doctor approves it. Before getting into the diet program, it is advisable to read some HCG diet reviews to learn something about the diet program.

In making HCG diet reviews its definition, functions and effects should be discussed to enable any person understand HCG diet. HCG or Human Chorionic Gonadotropin is a kind of natural hormone being produced by the placenta of pregnant women. These natural hormones automatically control the metabolism via the hypothalamus within the period of pregnancy. HCG if used in a person’s diet, it causes the body to burn fats that are stored in the body at enormous fast rate. The body can burn about 2,000 to 3,000 calories or more per day while only consuming about 500 calories in food intake. This is the reason why losing weight is tremendously fast. A person who is using the HCG diet plan has to follow established food intake plan with specific foods included at a particular amount. The food plan should strictly be followed.

HCG hormones are available in two forms. It is available either as an injection or oral drops administered under the tongue. There is no strict time prescription to take it as long as it is taken the same time per day. Most people prefer to take HCG in the morning before they do an activity for the day.

Common testimonies of people at some HCG diet reviews who have used the HCG diet plan declare that a person can lose weight within one to three pounds per day. The weight they lose depends on what they eat and when they eat those foods. The number of weight lost will also depend on the condition of the body when taking HCG. How long a person has to stay on the diet will depend on how much fats must be burned to lose weight and how much the body can take. Some people in order not to damage their health go on intervals while maintaining the food diet intake. Generally, a person determines the time to stay on the diet or the intervals even before going into the diet plan with the help of a doctor or dietician.

Since HCG will burn the excess fat in the human body with the danger of also touching the natural fat that a person needs to perform daily activity, the body should be prepared before going into the diet plan. At least three days before the start of the HCG diet a person should eat as much food as possible to make the amount of fat cells at the largest. When the HCG diet starts, only 500 calories per day are allowed to be taken by the person under the program. This daily calorie count will last for two to three weeks and must be implemented strictly. Coffee, tea and water, is allowed in any amount as long as it has no sugar content. Only grilled or boiled beef, chicken, veal, lobster, white fish, shrimp, and crab are the meat allowed. On the other hand, the only allowed vegetables are chicory beet-greens, tomatoes, chard, spinach, onions, fennel, celery, asparagus, cucumbers, cabbage, and green salad. An apple, half cup of strawberries, and half piece of grapefruit are the fruits allowed in the diet.

At the start, the person is excited and maintains the food diet but after a week, it becomes tiresome and feels a lack of energy. Feeling weak is caused by the 500 calories a day intake. The stomach may get used to the small portions but eating the same food daily will be a enormous challenge. The food around will become very tempting, and the dieter may be tempted to eat what is not allowed. The success of the person’s HCG diet is in danger because the success is highly dependent on how the directions are strictly followed.

HCG Diet – Weight Loss Cure – Simple Tricks in How to Lose When You’re Not Losing

The HCG Diet is really discouraging if you don’t lose. TJM wrote, “I am so frustrated today – I didn’t lose anything yesterday and on Wednesday I did the apple day b/c I had plateaued. Did you have these same problems? Were there days when you didn’t lose anything? It’s so frustrating when you follow such a strict diet and you don’t lose anything. Any tips?”

If you are doing the HCG Diet, then you know how exciting it is to lose weight every single day. If you don’t lose, then those temptations to cheat grow stronger. Here are a few tips that may help.

1) Try skipping the bread sticks or melba toast for a few days. They stimulate insulin to hold onto fat. They really are appetizers, by their very nature of being carbs. Think appetizer. They stimulate hunger, too. Kevin Trudeau mentioned in his book, The Weight Loss Cure, that he didn’t eat any so that he could lose as fast as possible.

2) I have found that eating any beef can make losing difficult, especially for women. If you are eating any, I suggest you stop for a few days at least and see if it helps. Any beef at all, just has too many fat grams.

3) The best way I have found to keep losing is to try and eat one meal as fat free as possible, which means having fish or shrimp.

4) Grapefruit is a known fat burner. I found on the diet, I actually grew to love it and now off the diet, I don’t care about it as much. I think my body just wanted the vitamin C or potassium or maybe it was the sugar. I found if I started the day with grapefruit, I felt more satisfied as the day went on. I don’t understand it. It just worked that way.

5) Taking potassium supplements can help you lose. You have to be careful and only take them once or twice a day. Potassium helps release fluid from the cells. It helps because this diet where you lose so fast, you lose potassium. If you find yourself feeling a headache or having leg cramps, you probably need to take potassium. Some clinics even prescribe potassium. A banana has about 500 mgs. of potassium, so taking a potassium pill of 100 mg. sure won’t hurt anything. If you are worried about balance with other electrolytes, you can also take calcium and magnesium.

I didn’t take supplements the first time I did the diet, but I did after that. I took a good quality multi-vitamin and extra calcium and vitamin C and of course potassium plus a few others. This was gradual over time, but I felt the first time I did the diet, my nails got weak.

6) Some people will not lose if they drink diet drinks. The non-sweeteners seem to stimulate insulin to hold onto fat. There is new information out that suggests that diet drinks and a regular diet add to belly fat.

7) Some studies of people on the HCG Diet showed that if they fasted from after supper until noon the next day, that they lost better. You can test this yourself by not eating until noon and weighing yourself again. You will have probably lost another half pound or more.

8) Vinegar is a known fat burner and I lost best when I ate some of that on salads every day. I got tired of it and started using balsamic vinegarettes with no sugar or fat.
